  1. bitcoin friends correct me if im wrong: seems that to participate in the network you need a full node which is expensive + rules out mobile?

      if nothing else, it requires you to trust other people running full nodes for verification, which feels like it defeats the purpose?

        i get the feeling that there is a hierarchy between people capable of running full nodes and those not, but i could be missing something
