  1. these images have the same energy and give me a similar kind of joy. i think i love compilers because ive had a bidirectional compiler running in my head at all times for as long as i could speak. watching things turn into other things is a part of who i am. its all connected.

      like, i am tickled that the F# compiler and CLR JIT can turn a tail recursive function call into a loop. i am equally tickled that a valid translation of moose into arabic is basically "large american gazelle"

        idk sometimes i feel a pressure to separate out "identity stuff" from my software work but its all the same shit. it all comes from the same place. drawing lines between this stuff is arbitrary and useless.
