@cemerick my experience writing a compiler in f# has been really transformative. i rarely run the code, i just work on making the jigsaw of types match up. when they do, it runs correctly every single time because how couldnt it

@cemerick when there *are* deeper bugs, they're *exclusively* interesting ones that relate to the problem domain, i.e. PLT. i just cleaned up an analysis pass because i wasnt propagating environment information correctly. super interesting! i learned a lot!

@cemerick i dont know if i want to write *everything* like this, i dont know if i want to make computer art or games like this, but there is a category of software i certainly want to write like this.
