  1. thinking about homoiconic syntax for CLR types. i already have #<> syntax working in #jn, but i am not sure how much i like it now that i am using it. thinking of switching to pipes. any preference one way or the other?

pipes are also nice because if theyre treated specially by the reader they can work in other contexts where type parameters are important. they also dont clash with common operators than the way <> do, though you couldnt nest them. hm.

two more approaches. in the first pipes signal type parameter parsing, but dont nest. inner parametrized types use [] syntax instead. in the second, #[] means type arguments. less pretty, but maybe more consistent?

hm, the #[] syntax is growing on me. its the most consistent, and fairly terse.
