    @tomakel the 0-intrinsic-value statement was about what is actually sold as an NFT: an entry in a ledger. you dont buy the art. you dont "have" the art any more than anyone else does. digital scarcity is a myth and non-enthusiasts understand this. whats the pitch to the average consumer?

      @tomakel and NFTs as a technology do not speak to the problem of bootlegs. NFT marketplaces are *riddled* with bootlegs and ripoffs as much as any other marketplace, if not more. they dont/cant do anything to counteract it. so its not really accurate to set up a better/worse comparison.
