      @tomakel that's one aspect, and some NFTs do have explicit downlines, but even without that crypto in general depends on recruiting new people to inject fiat currency into exchanges for others to cash out, which is very pyramidal. because its all pretend money unless you can cash out.

    @tomakel but to your original question/poll: i think the NFT community has been unable to communicate to the general public why a metadata entry on a ledger is something they should want/care about. the blurriness of the value prop + the nonstop scams sketches people out, unsurprisingly.
