    1. does anyone have any idea what the lower letters on these keys are? one of them is an open ة in a final form, but i cannot for the life of me think of what the others are. typographic flourishes for ي ب ن? they don't really connect well enough for that...

    other arabic typewriters seem to have the same keys, so its not a fluke -- i feel like i am missing something?
