@superSGHP oh for sure. and most complexity im encountering is a result of the passage of time. the reason clojure has nine subtly different ways to define a type is its been 10 years and some of the earlier ideas were just not as good.

@superSGHP i do think certain things invite chaos though. i think single dispatch, classes, interfaces, all of that is a dead end. you end up with piles of workarounds just to stay afloat and none of it is any good. clojure is full of that unfortunately.
