@xululululuuum the syntax is nicer, yeah, also generally just more pulled together and less full of historical cruft. it has a ton of new ideas in it and it all feels very coherent and unified in a way that some of the older lips do not.

@xululululuuum like in some cases you have multiple different macro syntaxes and multiple different ways of doing loops, stuff like that that just accumulated over time because many of them wanted to be backwards compatible with the lisp code going back to the '70s
