      @jwymanm @JustinAHorwitz taxes avoided through financial and legal trickery is not money lost? does it really stand to reason that you and I owe the government more money in taxes for our economic activity than a giant corporation does?

    @jwymanm @JustinAHorwitz you're also neglecting the reverse: without services funded by taxes businesses would be impossible to start and run. I say this from experience having grown up in Beirut, where taxes are easily avoidable, but the government provides no reliable services. result is a failed state
