@Lythke @slsoftworks @DeconstructConf the basic idea is that programming is made predominantly out of named things, and every name carries the written culture of its author with it, so culturally neutral programming is impossible as long as everything has to have exactly one name. the talk sketches out an alternative

@Lythke @slsoftworks @DeconstructConf regardless of the size of influence of the Chinese economy and culture, every single API, SDK, "readable" protocol etc in use are full of nothing but English names. Even if your programming system was in Chinese, you would still have to deal with English to interact with them.
