  1. playing with better font coverage in thixels. i like the way the current font, fixedsys excelsior, looks (1st image) but it does not support e.g. east asian scripts. i am thinking of using unifont to cover the remaining scripts (2nd image)

      it would be simpler to use unifont for everything, but i prefer the way fixedsys looks in general
