    1. progress from last night. the model is textured in blender using colors from pallet, then lit in three.js using standard lighting, then a full screen shader constrains every pixel to the original palette. I'm into it!

    this approach is as much about aesthetics as it is about economy in production. iterating on the models/swapping out pallettes is very quick. three.js does the hard work of shading and rendering the model at different angles which side steps the tedium of eg production pixel art
