  1. related question: is there a way to specify on a per-method basis which JIT to use? I know when LLVM is enabled the standard JIT is still there and will be used in cases the LLVM backend cannot support. is there a way to explicitly ask for this? i am writing compilers. @ra/1058483632946495489
