      @yvanscher theyre different philosophies. ubuntu is great, and a lot of things just work right out of the box, but it necessarily includes software you might not want and makes assumptions that might not be right.

    @yvanscher arch comes with *nothing* and as a result is quite a bit more work to set up, but you get the *exact* computer you want with nothing extra. arch also has an amazing collection of packages and the best documentation of any distro ive seen.
